Dear Families,
During this time away from school, it is important that we work together to aide in your child's academic growth. I tried to provide flexible options so that it can be done at your convenience. Please do what you can and know I understand. This is a trying time for us all. It is my goal that by working together we can continue the learning, connectedness and fun for the kiddos.

Sight word practice takes time. Here is an easy way to continue practicing. Remember, writing doesn't always have to be with paper and pencil. It can be done in shaving cream, play-dough, paint, markers, crayons...
Journal Write
Use any paper, preferably with lines. Together choose a topic. It can be whatever is on their mind (Free Write) or maybe about an activity you did together. Please keep this work in one area (staple papers, a notebook, etc). PLEASE save this and send it back in when we return. What a fantastic keepsake it will be.
Our Writing Goals:

Seesaw
Luckily we have all gotten very comfortable with this app this year as a way to message and view your child's work using the HOME app.
In our class, we use the CLASS app. In order to complete the activities at HOME, you must sign into the free Seesaw CLASS app. (sorry about this but it will be worth it).
I will assign activities through our time off, beginning Tuesday, March 17 at 8am.

Clever
Clever is an area where our district houses many educational apps. This is new for us, but the kiddos have used it without any trouble. Their QR Code for this platform is stapled in their Homework Folder.
Currently we are using First in Math, but I may add more as time goes on.
